The EU1275 brings SaltyCell sodium-ion power to European compacts and mid-size cars — Golf, Polo, A3, A4, C-Class and similar. 75Ah of sodium-ion capacity in a standard DIN65-class 278 × 175 × 190 mm case, Right-Hand Positive terminal, drops straight in where your lead-acid or AGM battery came out.

Will the EU1275 fit my car?

The EU1275 uses the standard European DIN65-class case (278 × 175 × 190 mm) with a Right-Hand Positive terminal layout — a direct fit for the models listed above. Use our free compatibility checker to look up your exact make, model and year, or contact us if your vehicle isn't listed yet — we're actively expanding European fitment coverage.

Does my car need to be "registered" to the new battery?

Many European vehicles with stop-start systems (built roughly 2012 onward) use a Battery Management System that needs to be told a new battery has been fitted, via a diagnostic tool (VCDS for VW/Audi, ISTA for BMW, Xentry for Mercedes). This is a normal part of any battery replacement on these vehicles, not specific to SaltyCell batteries. See our installation guide or ask your installer.
