Will the EU1280 fit my car?

The EU1280 uses the standard European DIN75-class case (315 × 175 × 190 mm) with a Right-Hand Positive terminal layout — a direct fit for the models listed above. Use our free compatibility checker to look up your exact make, model and year, or contact us if your vehicle isn't listed yet — we're actively expanding European fitment coverage.

Does my car need to be "registered" to the new battery?

Many stop-start vehicles — including BMW 1/3 Series, and the ISS-diesel Ford Ranger/Everest and diesel Kia Carnival/Sorento — use a Battery Management System that needs to be told a new battery has been fitted, via a diagnostic tool (ISTA/Carista/BimmerLink for BMW, or the relevant Ford/Kia diagnostic tool). This is a normal part of any battery replacement on these vehicles, not specific to SaltyCell batteries. See our installation guide or ask your installer.
